Missouri DOT

This PGSuper configuration is hosted at PGSuper.com and implements beam shapes and LRFD settings used by the Missouri Department of Transporation (MoDOT).

Implemented Girder Shapes

• MoDOT Girder Types 2, 3, 4, 6 & 7

Note: When viewing the template files, the A, B, C designations refer to the designations that MoDOT uses in their Engineering Policy Guide 751.22 for the various girder types.  "GI" and "GII" refer to "Group I" and "Group II" designations, also found in MoDOT's Engineering Policy Guide.

Assumptions and Limitations

• Design for 2007 AASHTO LRFD 4th Edition and 2008 Interims
• Girder lifting and hauling check is enabled
• Rating criteria has not yet been input
• Harped strand slope check is disabled
• Strand hold down check is enabled, but user must verify hold down limits specified in MoDOT Engineering Policy Guide 751.22 for Prestressed Concrete I-girders
• Railing dead load distributed to 3 girders
