This PGSuper configuration is part of the default PGSuper installation and is hosted on the TxDOT ftp site. All project criteria settings reflect TxDOT's interpretation of the AASHTO specification.

Implemented Girder Shapes

  • All precast, prestressed bridge girder shapes currently used at TxDOT

Assumptions and Limitations

  • Detailed implementation of provisions stated in the TxDOT LRFD Bridge Design Manual
  • Girder lifting and hauling are not considered
  • Strand layouts per TxDOT standard plans
  • Stirrup layouts per TxDOT standard plans

PGSuper Set Up Instructions

This configuration is installed with PGSuper when the TxDOT modifications are selected at installation, and is stored on TxDOT's configuration server.

  1. Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet.
  2. Start PGSuper and select "Configure PGSuper from the File menu.
  3. Select the TxDOT libraries and templates server
  4. Select the "TxDOT" configuration
  5. Click "Update Libaries and Templates Now"
  6. You can now open TxDOT templates from the File|New menu.
